Deliveroo has announced a special giveaway for those lucky enough to have a floral-inspired name.
To celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show which runs until 25th May, the food delivery company is giving out free bouquets from local florists across the UK worth up to £50.
Customers who want to bag a bouquet should email [email protected] with their full name, email address and postcode before midnight on May 25.
300 winners will then be randomly selected from all eligible entries and notified via email with their voucher on or before May 31.
The lucky customers can claim and order their flowers from their local participating florists through the Deliveroo app or website, and a selection of more than 100 stores across Britain.
Eligible names include but are not limited to: Heather, Rose, Lily, Poppy, Daisy, Iris, Violet, Jasmine, Flora, Holly and Ivy.
Floral and botanical inspired names have been popular for more than a century and continue in popularity today with Lily topping the list in 2022.
Suzy McClintock, VP of Retail and New Verticals at Deliveroo, said: 'There's nothing better than receiving a surprise bunch of flowers which is why, at a time when flowers are front of mind across the nation, we wanted to take the opportunity to surprise and delight our customers whose names have floral connotations.
'We are proud to have almost 150 florist partners on board across the UK, enabling super swift flower delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
'Thanks to this new initiative, you might be able to get your hands on a beautiful bunch of blooms for free!'
For Brits not blessed with a floral-inspired name, Deliveroo is running a limited-time money saving offer on flower bouquets from today until June 30.
This offers a £15 saving when they spend £40 or more on flowers from any local florist shop on the app using the code FLORIST15.
Customers can order from any florist in the 'Shopping' section of the Deliveroo app, or online.
This comes after a family-run Greek restaurant in Dublin was named the best takeaway in the UK and Ireland by Deliveroo.
Yeeros, topped the list of Independent Restaurant of the Year with judges praising the establishment for authentic Greek street food.
The restaurant sells the likes of gyros, falafel wraps and Greek salads.
It beat out the likes of after battling it out against Regional Independent Restaurant of the Year Award winners White Men Can't Jerk in Peckham, London, Luxford Burgers in Edinburgh, Scotland, Dhamaka in Bristol, South England and Slap & Pickle in Sheffield, North England.
The award was judged by food critic and writer Jimi Famurewa and Deliveroo's CEO and founder, Will Shu.
They were scored against brand personality, food quality, packaging and presentation, customer reviews, and environmental consciousness.
